For the last few days I’ve been choking back bouts of tears. The sorrow I’m feeling for the harm of innocents feels like a lot to bear.
It might be easy for people to not feel affected when people who seem different than them suffer, but it feels very painful to me. I know what it’s like to feel hopelessness and be the focal point of harm and when I see how violence comes to the vulnerable, there are times I cry myself to sleep.
There is a chapter of the Bible that is keeping me going and I want to share that with you.
