I’ve been giving some thought to how specific temptations, insecurities, and unhealthy desires can manipulate our thoughts and actions.
As we trace them back, we can track them to a time or source of wounding or peril. From then on, they hound us.
This is unless we settle the situation with reflection, honestly, and a certain kind of reconciliation I speak about today in the episode.

This was one of those times where I had to listen and learn from my own episode. Something deep in me had to hear and learn. I listened three times and maybe you will need to as well.
To penetrate the crust of pain it can take multiple excavations.
Hear from the deepest part of you. The part that is bond up with the Holy One. You can tell the difference between what is and is not regenerated within because the Creator will speak goodness and love to you. The words of life.
It will be an expansive and generative voice. The embracing voice you’ve always longed to hear and believe.
Sometimes our own voice comes to us without much love or goodness.
It has malice in it or it is mixed with harm and lesser loves.
Sadly, we will hear messages and metabolize ideas that we are alone or unwanted. Maybe that we are too damaged or too feeble. By this we get discouraged. By this we feel ever more alone. We may be entangled in that cycle. Lost.
Friend, cast aside these voices, because they bring with them death with all its manifestations.
The Lover of our Soul brings love and life. Cling to that. be devoted to that. Make that the garment you fit yourself with and nothing less.
