There are times we don’t pray. That’s not so surprising. But, it’s easy to get stuck.
We may not want to or we may be distracted or overwhelmed by life in the kind of ways that make forming coherent stretches of words difficult.
I’ve learned from the deserts elders that silence can also be prayer.
• Waiting on God is prayer.
Let’s never think of prayer like we are sending up the right word combination to a sky daddy to get what we want.
• Prayer is involves a posture of willingness and receptiveness.
