The teenage Soldier who cut his Cape in Half: Martin of Tours [SSL 321]
Learning charity from Christian historian, theologian, and writer Justo L González
Hi Friends,
Today, I learned that the word chapel comes from this story that takes place on a cold winter day in Gaul (modern-day France) in about 336 AD.
It starts with a person born in what is now Hungry and was forced to became a Roman soldier at 15 years old. He later became known as Martin of Tours.
