Hello friendly people!

First - a serious update.

Since the original time of this recording and writing this (original) post there has been a major event. My husband Tim was in a severe cycling accident. He hit the ground hard and fractured a bunch of bones on the left side of his body. Six ribs, scapula, clavicle, and punctured his lung. Thankfully he was riding with friends and they helped him get to the hospital yesterday. He’s still in the hospital getting treatment, but as far as I know at the moment he won’t need surgery which is a huge relief. He’s likely to be in the hospital for several more days and he’s been in a lot of pain.

I am quite helpless to do much here in Puerto Rico, so I’ve cut short my stay by a month and rebooked a flight back to Pennsylvania (which cost more than double the original ticket price with the change fees etc—AGH!) I will arrive back in a few days and thankfully his parents and friends have been on hand and a huge help.

Our son Nathan who has special needs lives on his own, but relies on Tim, especially when I’m traveling for some things like transportation to one of his jobs, certain kinds of planning, doctor trips, if needed—but thankfully he’s very healthy, his bills, and what ever else pops up.

⭐️Suspending this malicious 102 year old tax makes it much easier and much cheaper to get medicine, food, and fuel (and everything else) from the US without the 20% extra tax and adhering to the strict stipulations that make shipping certain items here difficult to get or, like much-needed Liquid Natural Gas, impossible to import here from the U.S.
