Thanks for your thoughts and prayers and well wishes. It was a grueling first day, and a ton of pain from being intubated, but the splinting is out of my nose now and I can breathe! I was cautioned that the worst part of recovery is in 7-10 when the most swelling occurs and in two weeks it'll be much better.

Praying your surgery and recovery goes well. Give yourself lots of buffer to rest.
