After this installment there is only one episode left in this Limited Series on Dr Howard Thurman’s work Disciplines of the Spirit.

I’ve decided to cover all the sections of this final chapter because the timing is so apt for our context. In a time of violence of word, thought, and deed, we may wonder how is non violence possible or able to redeem what is wicked into something we can trust in toward reconciliation and greater harmony. Harmony begins as an inside job. The spiritual bankruptcy of our people and our leaders means that greater harmony eludes us—but, with God nothing is impossible.
